I am a counsellor based in Leconfield near Beverley, East Yorkshire. My work specialities are  survivors of sexual abuse, workplace issues such as stress, bullying, and disciplinary hearings. I also work with personal issues based around relationship problems, grief, ill-health, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, anger and domestic violence. I continue to work with survivors of sexual abuse including those suffering with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and DID (dissociative identity disorder).


I am available for face-to-face counselling at my home in Leconfield.

 

About Me

I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and therefore work according to their code of ethics. I am a Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapist. I have been working within this profession for 6 years, having worked previously in teaching for 22 years and manufacturing industry for 11 years. Thus I have extensive experience of very different working environments and a wide variety of people and situations within those.
