Finding any provider of a service is
not an easy task. Recommendations can be helpful, but in the case of
counselling you are probably seeking support from someone you feel comfortable
with. I would encourage you to take your time looking through my website and those
of other counsellors to find someone that looks as if they will suit you. If
you would like to ask any questions to help you, about the way I work or about
me please get in touch.
My aim is to help people relieve
their distress and to create a more meaningful life, and so I am concerned that
you make the best choice for you. An initial counselling session will be for
you to discuss what has brought you to counselling, and state what your
expectations are, and for me to answer any questions you may have. This first
session is important for both of us to decide if we can work together, and if
that turns out to be the case you can then make a further appointment.
